Walkways and Stairs

Inviting paths and stairs entice the visitor to a special quiet space.  Linking elements in the landscape design, stairs and walkways provide a gardenscape both structure and opening space for exploration.  In the artistic tradition of the great French painter and garden designer Claude Monet, Ground Effects plans gardens to provide quiet spots for meditation, creative thought or just calming moments in this ever-demanding world.

Pathways transform a stagnant site into a series of experiences, creating a sense of mystery that leads the visitor through the flowing form of landscape design.  They also provide further access to areas of the home and guide traffic to, from, and around various other landscape features, including streams, ponds and lakes.
